Seems that nature decided to decorate Lubbock for Halloween early this year. For today at around 5:30 pm everything outside turned into hellish orange with very poor visibility. I am just glad I don't have to drive anywhere, with 50 mile/h gusts and no visibility. Let me remind you, for those of you not impressed, that I come from south west Norway where the weather is calm except for a typical seasonal storms.

Before I left Houston I got a cardboard box from my parents saying that they had gotten this free kitchen stuff from a married couple. The stuff was apparently their newly wed kitchen stuff and they were now gonna replace it with new nicer equivalents. I thought at first it would just be some mediocre hand me downs, but after unpacking it all I was rather surprised. It all was in very good condition and has a simple appealing design.
Summary, Thank you random married couple!

Here are some pictures of the new apartment, lacking furniture and stuff on the walls. At the moment I am all alone here, but come December it will be full house. Full house because only two people are officially allowed to live in these apartments :p
There is a little desk hidden in the back.
You can see the walk in closet door in the mirror.
My apartment is the top right part, and that white Dodge Neon is my car and parking spot.
Le One Side of The Living Room
Ze Other Side
I need more furniture for stuff. The door on the right leads to the balcony.

Alexandra was surprised with a ring at the engagement party. This is because I (Thomas) wanted to do the romantic gesture of asking Alexandra to marry me, specially since we had come to a "conclusion" together that getting married would make our future easier. Not very romantic if you ask me. So I popped the question again after a short speech and she said yes! The crowd went :'Awwwwwh" , it was perfect (Minus the weather). Here's a picture of the ring, luckily for me she likes it a lot.

We would like to thank Monica and John, Alex's grandparents for the lovley bouquet. At first we were quite confused as there was no card with the the flowers, but eventually we found out who to give credit to. They smell very nice, too bad we can't share that with you but here is a picture of what it looks like.
